Email providers start with a free level of membership. For example, Mailchimp enables you to send emails to up to 2,000 contacts for free when you start out. Once your audience grows past 2,000, there are different levels of membership. However, the largest saving you make is in time. Once you have designed your email newsletter, you can simply duplicate and update it each time you send your database an email. 3. It keeps you visible to your audienceEmail marketing is the perfect remarketing tool for people who visit your website or social media account but decide not to buy anything. Your marketing email will keep your product or service in front of mind, even if they do not need it (yet). The moment that need arises for one of your email recipients, they will go into their inbox to find your latest email and contact you. 4. It's personalEmail marketing programs allow you to automate details such as adding client’s names into emails and sending them a personalised birthday card. This functionality can be used to interact with your database further. For example, you could ask people who read your emails questions, and give them options that will automatically change the content of the next email they will receive. This tailors your marketing emails to subjects and content that your recipients prefer. 5. It's measurableEmail marketing tracks your recipients’ behaviour. It will tell you how many people (and who) opened the email, and how many clicked on a link and went to your website. This can help you to understand which type of article is more effective in attracting new leads, what is the best time to send people the next email, and in some cases what each recipient is interested in on your website. There are many more advantages to email marketing. However, the success of your email marketing depends on the quality and customer-focused message you sent them. Writing a marketing email needs to be done carefully, to make sure your audience is motivated to open it and does not unsubscribe from your mailing list. I will go deeper into this in my next article.
