Jet Star’s inaugural flight into Busselton Margaret River airport is scheduled for March 25th, 2020.
The City of Busselton has worked very hard over some years to secure an alliance with an airline and finally it is here! The signing on of this route demonstrates Jet Star’s strong belief in the region, as it is the first time in 20 years that a new route has been added by the airline. As a result, there is an expected forecast of 60,000 visitors into the region over the next three years.
This is very exciting for the South West, and a fantastic opportunity for retailers and small businesses in the tourism industry to showcase products and services, and really act as ambassadors for the region. While it is obvious that the Busselton–Margaret River corridor will directly benefit from the three scheduled flights per week, towns within a few hours drive will also benefit.
