Bite-Size Lunch 'n' Learns in Busselton

Monthly Bite Size Lunch 'n' Learns are back in the South West for 2026 starting February!

If you put your hand up and are a successful applicant, you will have the opportunity to select a presentation style.  Choices are:

• A mini presentation
• Q&A format
• Interview style or
• Relaxed round table discussion on your topic.

Duration:

• 20 min + 5 min Q&A for presentation format OR
• 30 min for Q&A/round table discussion/informal interview (no general Q&A).

You will be guided and assisted by Business Advisor, Sana Turnock, every step of the way so that you feel confident of your topic.  This is all about building your business acumen in front of a small lunchtime audience.  It’s a casual relaxed setting where people learn, engage and connect.

Eligibility Criteria (Please Read)

1. Your target audience is other small businesses/organisations. 
   
2. Be committed to learning and personal business growth.
3. Commit to two planning sessions with Business Advisor, Sana Turnock, and a face-to-face rehearsal before the event.
4. Your business is based in the South West of WA and you can present face-to-face on your elected day.
5. You have a social media business page (or will be prepared to set one up as soon as you are able) and will be prepared to promote/share your presentation on social media as part of your marketing strategy (SBDC Regional will create the tiles and share your presentation details too).
6. If you are selected but choose not to participate, you withdraw as soon as possible so that your spot may be given to someone else.
7. Be open to new ideas/different ways of doing things.
8. Present within the format agreed upon and stay within timeframes provided.
9. Applications require a written response (see below) and some may require a follow-up telephone conversation (for clarification purposes).  You are happy to be contacted by phone for further information if necessary.
