The Biz Blitz is the ultimate opportunity to showcase your entrepreneurial spirit and win big! This high-energy sales pitch competition brings together 10 small business owners and startups from the greater Mandurah area to compete and connect in front of a live audience for a major $3,000 seed funding prize.

How does the Biz Blitz work

1. Workshop & One-to-one Session:
Participants start with a workshop, followed by one-to-one sessions with a business advisor to create their perfect sales pitch.

2. Sales Pitch Event:
During the sales pitch event participants have 3 minutes to sell their business or product to the small audience and judges. To increase your chances of winning one of four prizes, you can use your creativity, have product displays, props, and interact with the audience.

The three participants with the highest score from the judges and one participant chosen by the audience, will win a prize: 

• 1st prize: $3,000 funding money to boost your start up or improve your small business.
• 2nd prize: One-year membership of the Peel Chamber of Commerce
• 3rd prize: Marketing & Design package
• People's favourite: Photoshoot package 

The Sales Pitch Judges

A panel of five experienced judges score the sales pitches on delivery, creativity and sales effectiveness. The judges include representatives from:

• City of Mandurah
• Peel Chamber of Commerce
• Peel Development Commision 
• A previous Winner of Biz Blitz​
• ​Eminent Small Business Owner

​Registration & Eligibility - Who can participate:

Any small business, in operation less than two years, in Mandurah can register for the workshop and qualification round for the Biz Blitz. During the workshop/qualification small businesses can still withdraw, if they decide the competition is not for them.
